Craving some Dopamine Hits.
Subtitle
As I’m writing here, I’m actually craving some Dopamine hits.
Why?
Because I had one hell of an Exhausting day in a fully crowded, noisy place while doing social services.
Sure, doing some social services is a Nice feeling.
But, I’m not gonna lie that I’m not feeling beat once I reached home.
And while thinking on this, how to get Dopamine hits when you feel like it?
But then again…
How much of the term “Dopamine Hit” did you get?
A brief answer.
Dopamine is a chemical that’s also known as Reward chemical/ Feel-good chemical.
That’s right.
When I say that I’m craving some Dopamine hits, it basically means that I want to feel accomplished/ Rewarded, although I don’t feel like Doing anything at the moment.
But then again,
How do I get this Dopamine Hit without doing anything?
I’ll be Honest.
It’s Impossible.
How can we get a sense of accomplishment without working for it? It’s an Alphabet knowledge.
So, what’s next?
I mean, I just wanted some Dopamine hits to get up and function and you’re asking me function first to get that Dopamine Hit?
It just felt Impossible to me.
Many of you might think of having a small nap to make up for it. But, believe me when I say, a nap never did the trick for me.
That’s why I thought,
Maybe I should do something I enjoy which I haven’t done in a while.
Right.
Doing something I enjoy for a Dopamine hits really does the trick.
However, I enjoy everything I do. Of course, except for studying.
- Fiction Writing.
- Blog Writing.
- YouTube content creating.
- Building a Social Presence for better marketing. [ https://www.instagram.com/cs57_12?igsh=MWFlcW14eXlzbjdmaw== ]
- Ghostwriting.
- Translating.
- Reading.
- Sketching.
These are all the things I enjoy doing which are also the things I do regularly. I already have a Systematic approach to these.
Thus, the amount of Dopamine Hit we might receive by doing things we do on a Daily basis, despite those things being things I really enjoy reading, the Dopamine Hit we could receive from it reduces significantly.
That’s why I opted to do something I haven’t done in a long while but enjoy doing.
Gaming.
Yes.
I know how Unprodcutive this might sound.
But, gaming occasionally from time to time, without getting addicted, is actually a Healthy gamer thing.
So, I installed a game I really loved back in the days, Played it for about an hour and I uninstalled it right away once I’m done.
If you’re craving some Dopamine hits to get you to function normally…
Try doing something you enjoy doing which You haven’t done in a While.
Now, I know that Dopamine Hits are short lived and it demotivates you once You’re done with the Short lived Hit.
However,
What if the things you do continuing that certain Dopamine Hits are actually things you really Loves to do.
Then that’s a totally different story.
P.S.: The game I played is: Legend Of Neverland.
Hope y’all are having a Great day.
